ROME, JUNE 12, 2007 (Zenit.org).- There is a new Web site available for tourists planning to visit major Catholic pilgrimage sites.
The Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi, the Vatican institution whose mission is to evangelize through pastoral tourism and the ministry of pilgrimage, has developed a multilingual Web site called "Journeys of the Spirit," which provides travel planning and tour groups.
The JOSP Web site was set up to establish a network capable of meeting the needs of pilgrims traveling to Rome and other pilgrimage destinations around the world.
Aside from Rome, the other JOSP Web site destinations include Lourdes, France; Fatima, Portugal; Santiago de Compostela, Spain; Czestochowa, Poland; and Jerusalem.
