Ternopil—Fr. Yosafat Oleh Hovera, director of the Ternopil-Zboriv Eparchy’s seminary and newly nominated exarch of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) of Volyn, was ordained on 7 April 2008, on the Feast of Annunciation of the Holy Mother of God at the cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Ternopil by UGCC head Lubomyr Husar with the assistance of Bishops Vasylii Semeniuk and Bishop Pavlo Khomnytskyi of the Stemford Eparchy of the USA.
According to a report from RISU correspondent Volodymyr Moroz, the blessing of Pope Benedict XVI was read and Patriarch Lubomyr Husar presented episcopal vestments to the new bishop.
