Lviv— The Caritas Ukraine branch in the Sambir and Drohobych Eparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) has developed a study program on migration and human trafficking for UGCC seminary students. A presentation of a new handbook was held on 6 March 2008 at the Holy Spirit Seminary in Lviv.

The partners involved in creating the handbook are Caritas Ukraine, the UGCC Patriarchal Curia, the UGCC Committee on Matters of Migrants, seminaries in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Drohobych and Uzhhorod, the Coordinator on Matters of Migrants in Italy, and the editorial staff of the Do Svitla magazine of Ukrainians in Italy.

The implementation of the project was made possible thanks to support from the International Organization for Migration and the U.S. Agency for International Development.
