Lviv – “Our task is not just to tell people about Christ but to help them live in a Christian way.” So said Patriarch Lubomyr (Husar), head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), during a meeting at which the UGCC’s missionary work was discussed. The fifth meeting on missionary work took place in the building of the Bureau of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC in western Ukrainian Lviv on 7 June 2007.

The participants worked on two documents: a draft of the official address which will present the UGCC’s doctrine on missionary activities and a draft questionnaire which will help study the proposals and needs of every eparchy and exarchate regarding missionary work.
